In two years, the Machine Program provides knowledge and skills about industry based machining and chipless production methods, as well as other manufacturing processes, computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM), maintenance and repair techniques, measurement and quality control, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, material recognition and examination (destructive-non-destructive).
Due to the fact that the manufacturing industry has become a rapidly rising power and CNC machines and CAD-CAM programs occupy an important place in modern manufacturing, “Machinery Technician” has been the most sought-after employee. Along with the engineer responsible for production, the machine technician is a technical staff providing technical communication that establishes the link between the production-master-worker / worker- and management. Machine Technician is responsible for efficient operation of the machine and workers, in achieving the targeted product quality and standards.
The machine program has been launched in 2013-2014 academic year.
